but most of us already knew that. I just can't help it, I love this guy:
(For those of you not in the know, Andrew is one of this season's American Idol contestants). I love his sweet croon, his bad-ass-nice-guy swagger, and the fact that he cries when he's overcome with emotion. :) My friend Jason thinks he looks like a furby, which I guess is pretty true, but that just makes him all the more adorable. No one loved last night's rendition of Heard it Through the Grapevine, but I voted for him like a zillion times so he'll be cool, I'm sure. ;) Who is everyone else rooting for?
In other news, I'm getting geared up for my little mama's visit this weekend. Super psyched to pick her up from the airport on Friday, albeit a little bummed that I'll miss Balboa's "A Black and White Affair" dance. Nothing like bustin' up some teenage grinding with a flashlight and a menacing grimace . . .
What would y'all do with your mamas in San Francisco? So far we're planning on several beautiful hikes, some farmers market browsing, a couple dinners with friends (one of which will definitely be at Burma Superstar!), and a Sunday brunch with my little babyloves. What else, people?!
And now I'm off to finish writing my poem that's due at the Cobraz meeting this evening, even though it's a little excruciating to look at my computer screen thanks to my scratched cornea. Pray that I'm not going blind, folks!
Happy middle-of-the-week, and wish me luck with the hardest poem assignment I've received in years . . .
