And Speaking of Giveaways . . .

This is my sister, Kate:

She just opened an Etsy shop called Very Fine House, where she is selling vintage housewares like this:

So go check out her shop!  Her prices are great and her taste is impeccable.  And guess what?  My dearest Micaela is hosting a giveaway of two coveted items from my sister's shop!  Head over to Micaela's blog to see what Kate is giving away and to  enter! I love this partnership of two ladies I love. ♥

Thank you for the lovely comments lately lady! :) Your blog is just gorgeous - and any acquaintance of sweet miss Micaela is good in my books! I was eyeing off a radio like the one above in a shop today - whenever I see them I imagine what life sitting around a radio instead of a tv would have been like. The wares in your sister's shop are to die for! I've already favourited too many items!

Very nice! I'll have to check it out. I adore vintage things. There's that history that comes along with them that's super cool.

Aw, your sister's shop is so fun!!!

Also, to answer your question, the Gap Jeggings are number sizes, which is nice because a lot of leggings just do the small/medium/large thing, which makes it tough to find an ideal fit!

Your sister has a great eye for vintage! I think it's sweet that two people you love have combined for this giveaway :)

Plus I adore what you sent your swap partner. Again I'm so sorry that you didn't get anything back. I have to send you a little something!

I could tell your sister's etsy shop was going to be amazing when I saw the beautiful vintage detail she put into her wedding decor. I just LOOOOOVE her stuff!!! Since I can't very well win my own twinkie's giveaway (haha) I can't wait to purchase some goodies!! :) I know your sister's shop is going to be a success :) Love the gorgeous photo of her!

i loved your opinion about my american apparel post. im a bit conflicted on the issue as well, but i suppose through the legalize gay line he is striving to compensate for his other mishaps.

whether or not its forgivable is debatable, but at least its initiating positive social change :D

and im so excited about your sister's shop. i have a vintage clothing boutique, and a collection of antique radios, and other vintage household items, but i decided not to sell them via the online boutique because of shipping charges. maybe your sister would be interested in having them? whats her email address ? :D
