But I can't help it. Drives me batty when I see people putting apostrophes where they don't belong (like in random plural words). Ex:
"Hello from the Anderson's!"
"Check out these shirt's!"
Anyway, one too many mutterings about how this nonsense makes me want to pull my hair out, and I get an email from my dear friend Brady yesterday saying, "Saw this and immediately thought of you." He was referring to this letterpress card from Etsy seller shopsaplingpress. Check out the hilarity:
I'd buy a whole box full if I didn't think I'd alienate all the recipients. :)

please never stop being a snob! there aren't enough of us out there . . .
a got an email from a coworker yesterday and instead of forgot she spelled "for got"
ABSURD!
I am definitely a grammar snob, even though I don't always use it correctly, and I think this card is AMAZING! Thank you for sharing it!
ha..ha...that is funny! I am not the best at grammar so I could probably take a lesson or two from you!
These are beautiful!! Maybe buy some to passive aggressively send anonymously?? Yeah?? haha :)
Oh man I am probably s'o guilty!!!!!!! But I do it with out thought....hahahaha!!! Girl's!
hahah! you need to frame that.
haha! that's so awesome, and i totally agree. i mean, sometimes it sounds totally douchey to use correct grammar {ex - "for what are you thankful?"}, but other times i think "okay, just read back through your writing once or twice... just try."
two of my favorite punctuation-related funnies {which you must check out} are:

you're welcome! :)
Know why I call my blog "The Starnes Family"? Because "The Starneses" would look weird. You see, people, adding an apostrophe and an "s" to my name does not make it plural.
Seriously one of my biggest issues with society. If I see a printed sign, obviously approved by someone in Advertising, it drives me INSANE.
Did you ever hear about those guys who traveled across the U.S. correctly grammar on public signs? Love them. If I didn't have all these damn kids hanging around, I'd join them!
Too perfect! I can't say I'm great at grammar but I like to think I have a pretty good grasp on some basic apostrophe rules...however, feel free to correct me anytime!
lol! if you buy the box, you can send a card to me. i am struggle with this damn language. big time! and it is the only language that i know! :)
this.is.awesome.
Hahaha drives me crazy when people get to and too incorrect. That's like the easiest grammar to master, people!
lol! i love that card!!! :)
Haha! I love it! I judge people when the don't spell words right and use the wrong you, yours and you're.
THIS.IS.AWESOME. As a writer for my company, people often submit things to our intranet that I have to edit, etc. Oh if you ONLY knew some of the things I see... *eyes wide in disbelief* Run on sentences realllllly get me for some reason. I mean seriously, how does the following make sense:
We are hosting an event you should come it will be fun... AGH! BLERG!!!!!!
Yay! Grammar snobs of the world unite!
Random apostrophe use makes me CRAZY. And the incorrect use of your and you're, to and too, they're, there and their? Don't even get me started on that rant!
I love that card. I'd send it. Maybe...
Preach it, sister! Grammar (proper grammar that is) has totally fallen by the wayside nowadays. It's so unfortunate when I see misspelled words on professional documents. I'm like "Really? You don't know how to proofread?"
Pet Peeve Numero Uno.
too many celebs i follow on twitter use 'your' when they should be using "you're" IT DRIVES ME INSANE!!!!
You must have a seizure when you read FOUND magazine! (I kind of love it for just that reason!)
