The Solution to Racism in America

While Jennifer was here, she showed me something magical: the following commercial for Red House Furniture in High Point, North Carolina.  I emailed the link to drollgirl immediately, knowing it was up her alley, but then I decided I had to share it with the rest of you.

Videos can be tedious but trust me . . . this one's worth it.

I'm thinking of making the trip cross country just to meet these fine folk.

What does he say at the end? Expanded or hispanic? Old or all?

Hahaha, this is hilarious!! And kind of embarrassing since I live not TOO far away from High Point... YIKES I promise not all of us North Carolinians are like that! :)

Based on the comments above, and being a North Carolinian myself, I'm afraid to click 'play' on the video!

Oh, goodness. Well, I like the sentiment? And the really awkward 'acting.' In general though, I just have a hatred for local commercials. They're always done so badly! Or maybe it's just Alabama and Arkansas commercials. . . and apparently North Carolina ones, too.

Yeah, what Kimbirdy said. I'm in a little disbelief over here....

if this isn't the solution to racism, i don't know what is!

p.s. they left out quite a few ethnic groups. maybe they'll catch them all in the next commercial?
