Pictures from my Holiday in Georgia

These are long overdue, but at last, here's what I was (mostly) up to while I was home visiting family and friends in Georgia over Christmas:

obsessing over Ashley's baby, Emma Kate

petting dogs at my dad's

posing with my mama and sister in front of my aunt's Christmas tree
(I know, I know, horrible picture quality, but it's all I got)

catching up with my old friend Mike

loving on my huge nephew, Leon
(with my brother-in-law, Leon's dad, here)

buying Scotch for my 91 year old grandma

wrapping gifts late at night

enjoying girls' night with my cousin & sister (and mama and aunties)

hanging out with my best friend on Christmas Day

playing with my favorite little girls:
Matilda on left, Aria on right

giggling at my dad and stepmom's Christmas card

shootin' guns with a friend from high school, Tyler
(our deal: I agree to go to the shooting range with him;
he agrees to read book about women in prison)

cheering on the Saints in my new snuggie from Lane

Also: drinking sweet tea, reading books, playing board games, overbooking my days, spending lots of time with family, and not blogging. ;)

There are SO many things i LOVE about this post... Your grandma, she looks like one tough cookie, but incredibly sweet! Love it :)

And might i add that the photo of you at the shooting range is fabulous... i come from a "shootin'" family, so that photo made me smile big time

it looks like you had a wonderfully busy, fun and exciting time with some very cool, beautiful, fun people and incredibly adorable children!!

I'm really loving all the blog posts about what everyone did over the holidays.

HAPPY NEW YEAR CLAIRE!!

It looks like you enjoyed yourself and had a wonderful time with your family. That's one of the best things about the Christmas break (though it nice to just relax and do nothing as well). x

Not sure what my favorite is... the snuggie (I have one, LOVE it, not even ashamed to admit it), the doggies, that adorable baby, or your clearly kick ass g-ma. Love that she drinks scotch.
