When you're home sick and you're whiny and your boyfriend is at work . . .

I'm not exactly "home sick," it's more like "working from home and not feeling well."  But I'm grateful for the ability to work at home--that's for sure!  At least I can get my lesson plans revised and education emails sent out while in my jammies (that is, my Tim Riggins jersey), guzzling gatorade, and checking my temperature every ten minutes. ;)

So I've been pinning away:

How gorgeous is this dress?  I'm smitten.

Red lentil, pumpkin, and chickpea stew.  Can someone come over and make this for me RIGHT NOW? I think it would cure my sickness.

Curing a cold via a bath?  Sign me up.

If I can figure this out, it's the perfect project for all the corks I've been saving.

Another thing I'm doing: obsessing over last night's Sons of Anarchy season 5 premiere.  For those of you who watched it, that one Tig scene was SO HARD TO WATCH.  Unfortunately I can't stop thinking about it and I'm afraid it may have done some permanent damage.  Also, Kurt Sutter had promised a "graphic sex scene" at the opening of the first episode, and I was disappointed to see that Jax was not involved.  Otherwise, it was amazing.  I am quite sure that I'll be rewatching it again today when I'm done with work.

So sorry you're not feeling well my friend?! If I lived closer I would totally help you out with the cork board. I'd make you one but I don't drink wine so I don't have corks! I wish my baths looked half as good as that one.

I hope you feel better, but I bet it is super nice that you can work from home. I love that cork board in the unique frame. So much more fun than a plain board. And I wish we had a nice bathtub that I could use for long bubble baths. We have a plain and not overly exciting one that serves its purpose for ice baths.

Awww feel better!
And oh my heck, SOA... That Tig scene scarred me for life as well. SO HORRIBLE. When you told me there was a brutal scene I thought it was the guy getting shot in the head... until that scene.
And I totally missed the first 5 minutes aka the sex scene and then rewatched it right after... could have done without bahaha

I had to giggle when you said you were disappointed Jax was not in the graphic sex scene haha! He is so much hunk, I am so behind on SOA only up to season 3. I home sick today too. One of those days where I could have gone to work - I just have a head cold but just could not get out of bed.
Hope your better soon and you get that soup.

oh. my. GAWD. that episode of SOA was so good. i knew it was going to good but it was incredibly good and so worth the wait. yes that tig scene was pretty terrible but expected. you knew he wouldn't get away with what he did last season.

I couldn't watch SoA live but I am glad I didn't see any spoilers on Twitter. It was such a good episode, so much happened and it's only the first one. The opening sex scene was a little gross for me and the Tig scene...heartbreaking x3. I felt horrible for him, Clay lies to him and then he loses his daughter because of it.
